Marie & the redCat from Mannheim do nice and warm pop music, carefree and with a love for detail!

With the debut album „Home“, released in September 2012, the band has found its own, individual style and arrived in the German music scene. Recorded near the French border, in a forest between trees, sun, wind and rain, they created a very unique album that combines Acoustic Pop and Indie Folk elements in a special way. The distinctive, beautiful voice of singer Marie conveys a great mood and leads you through any kind of emotion: You want to cry or dance, to laugh or just quietly sit on the floor with your eyes closed and listen to the music.
Now that their summerly song “Beautiful Day” is featured in the current Starbucks commercial in the USA, Marie & the redCat undoubtedly have exciting and successful times ahead of them!
