Sweet nothings from Pupkin Film

 
They do say that music is the food of love – we helped bring a sensuous self-discovery tale to the small screen for Pupkin film. Süßes Verlangen or Sweet Desire, titled LelleBelle in its original Dutch, finds a reserved and self-doubting young violinist struggling to attain her dream of joining a conservatory. Gradually, she comes to realise that the only way to reach her full potential may be to learn to liberate herself from her inhibitions.
 
Music was of course absolutely central to the film, used to reflect Belle’s passions as well as to comically subvert expectations – we licensed the lion’s share of the soundtrack for its DVD release.
