We are looking for an ambitious and smart New Business and Account Management Lead for our Tokyo office.

Your role

As New Business and Account Management Lead, you are the driving force behind our growth in Japan and South‑East Asia. You open doors, nurture relationships and turn opportunities into long‑term partnerships. You spread the word about Tracks & Fields in the Japanese market and position us as the go‑to partner for everything music in advertising.

Your responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, creative agencies, advertising production companies and directors in Japan and South‑East Asia.
  • Build awareness of Tracks & Fields in the Japanese market through meetings, presentations, industry events and smart outbound activities.
  • Qualify and convert inbound and self‑generated leads into active clients.
  • Develop and expand existing client relationships by understanding their needs, proposing relevant music solutions and driving repeat business.
  • Proactively spot growth opportunities within key accounts, prepare pitches and close deals.
  • Represent Tracks & Fields in client meetings, calls and at industry events, acting as a trusted, music‑savvy partner.
  • Collaborate closely with our creative and production teams to ensure a smooth handover from deal closing to project execution.

Your profile

  • You are a natural relationship builder: communicative, likeable and confident in dealing with senior stakeholders.
  • You have a strong network in the Japanese creative and advertising industry (brands, agencies, production companies, directors) and ideally connections in South‑East Asia.
  • You enjoy sales and business development, and you are persistent and strategic in your outreach and follow‑up.
  • You think commercially and analytically, understand how to grow revenue within accounts and are motivated by hitting and exceeding targets.
  • You bring several years of experience in advertising, media, production, music or a related creative field, with a clear focus on client acquisition and account development.
  • You communicate fluently in Japanese and English, both spoken and written; additional Asian languages are a plus.
  • You are independent, reliable and structured, able to manage your pipeline and priorities without heavy supervision.
  • You are genuinely passionate about music and how it can elevate stories for brands and filmmakers.
