Audi call for “a little less conversation, a little more action”

We’re all aware of the growing need for environmental action and automotive brands are having to make a change. Not just contributing to the conversation, but taking action in how they operate and the kinds of cars they make.

Audi’s latest commercial shows the world off-kilter, emphasising the importance of small actions to help combat climate change. Directed by Bruce St Clair, the spot outlines Audi’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions by 30% by 2025 with the help of their all electric e-tron range.

Tracks & Fields produced and licensed a cover of the Elvis classic ‘A Little Less Conversation’, enlisting the help of NEBBRA and The Great Escape who gave it a distinct contemporary twist. The idea of futureproofing a classic is integral to the spot and NEBBRA’s version feels like a call to arms, a demand for action.

NEBBRA is an up-and-coming electronic music artist from Paris, France. He established himself by winning five consecutive official remix contests in 2015/2016 alone, flipping tracks by Cage The Elephant, Lily Allen, Phantogram, Karin Park and Partythieves & ATLiens in such a unique way that he won first place 5 times in a row.

His Cage the Elephant remix made waves in the online remix community, achieving over fifteen million listens on Youtube and Soundcloud. He has gained support from tastemaker channels such as Trapnation, Majestic Casual, Suicide Sheep, Proximity and Cloudkid. His work has been featured in Billboard, Dancing Astronaut, Your Edm, Run The Trap and Fader – to name just a few.

A genre-busting, foot-stomping three-piece from Venice, California, The Great Escape are renowned for their unique blend of raw energy song craft. Self-produced in their own studio, they create a timeless sound that’s both unique and strangely familiar, rough and infectious. It delivers what it says on the tin: a sonically rich, great escape.
