Heligoland Remix Contest - Semantics Got Me Caned

You might not have heard about Heligoland before and upon hearing the name Tim Friese-Greene not much might come to mind either. But we would do more than just assume that the band Talk Talk will ring more than a bell or two and album titles like "It's My Life" and "Spirit Of Eden" should of course do just the same. Tim Friese-Greene produced, co-wrote, and performed on four of Talk Talk's albums between 1984 and 1992 but by choice did not wish to appear in the band's promotional photo sessions or music videos, which made him something like an unofficial band-member. And we'd like to point out that this is pretty cool.
Heligoland is Tim Friese-Greene's recording name used after 1992 when he decided to leave Talk Talk and work on his own, although his last release in 2009, '10 sketches for piano trio' was under his own name. Heligoland is largely a guitar-based project, however incorporating elements from many genres. In addition, Tim plays most instruments himself, yet, guests do occasionally appear.
Tim Friese-Greene is looking for an imaginative interpretation of his song "Semantics Got Me Caned" and with that, dear users, we wish you a very pleasant time.

1. You can either download stems and remix using your own software or work online with the Tracks & Fields sequencer....the choice is yours! And don't forget you can form discussion groups with your fellow remixers to share inspiration, tech talk or anything else!
2. Publish your remix here. You are not allowed to publish/post your remix or the stems from this contest on any other site - you may only use Tracks& Fields widgets for this purpose. Any user found to be doing so will be disqualified from this contest.
3. Do not infringe anyone's copyright: only use your own or royalty free/creative commons licensed material! Heligoland/Tim Friese-Greene remains the sole copyright owner of the song 'semantics got me caned' and all audio stems from this contest.
4. Heligoland/Tim Friese-Greene will choose the best remix - the entrant with the most votes will not necessarily win this contest.
