Hi, I’m Adam O’Neill, a composer and producer from Bury, England. I have composed songs falling into many different Genres, from classical,rock to dance music.

My primary instrument is the piano, although I can play other instruments like drums, harmonica, bass guitar and regular guitar, my primary focus is perfecting my performance skills on the piano. After years of playing everyone elses music, i decided it was time to start composing my own. Although i enjoy creating classical compositions most, i also love expermienting with new electronic sounds, writing dance music and other electro styles.

I am currently studying for a national diploma in music technology at bury college, in the time i am not studying i am composing or doing freelance mastering.

Influences:

I am heavily influenced by modern pianists like Matthew Bellamy and Phillip Glass, however, I draw a tremendous amount of inspiration from classical composers, my favourite of which is Chopin.

My favourite bands include rock bands, Biffy Clyro, Muse and Radiohead. Other bands i like are blues band The Ink Spots, experimental band, Marmaduke Duke and solo artist Serj Tankien.

Other musicians that inspire me are JImi Hendrix, for his use of pedals and effects that have paved the way for many modern rock bands. Nat King Cole is also a true inspiration.
