About me
'BOOYA' was born on October 24th 1984 in the city of Tongeren in the east of Belgium. Started as a hiphop DJ/turntablist in 1997. He played at Rock Herk festival, The Zoo (HipHop Narratives), Nightscapes, Bruisfestival Maastricht, Wasteland festival, Format C parties,...
Shared the stage with Dj Grazzhoppa, Hadouken, Emiliana Torrini, Ghinzu, TLP, Dj Swordz, IFC crew,... In 2000 he grabbed a 3rd place at the local Limbomania contest.
In 2007 he bought Serato Scratch Live, a wonderful tool bringing great opportunities and he decided to play fidget house/electro house/ UK breaks, flavourly mixed in a skillful turntable lab style! A new challenge for "BOOYA" in the coming years ... keep your ear to the gr(s)ound!!
