Telekinesis 'Dirty Thing' Remix Contest

Price: THE WINNING REMIX WILL BE HIGHLY CONSIDERED FOR A DIGITAL RELEASE AND WILL RECEIVE A 50 € VOUCHER FOR THE MORR MUSIC WEB SHOP!
Greetings remixers!

After his stunning self titled first album, Michael Lerner, aka Telekinesis, brings you 'Dirty Thing', which is especially dirty if it comes to the sound. As homage to the culture of Low Fidelity, Michael Lerner recorded this EP all alone with the microphone of his Macbook and "insane amounts of compression".

A few years ago Michael completed his studies at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where Paul McCartney himself keeps an eye on his students' skills in recording and audio engineering. Thereby the raw sound of the record fits perfectly to it's five songs. Candid, straightforward and always highly emotional; this is exactly the kind of rock 'n roll record, that has become rare these days. No needless knick knack - just a bunch of incredibly catchy two-minute-tunes. While two of them are brand new, you will already know the other three: 'Calling All Doctors' (because it was already part of the debut album - though in another version), 'Meaningless' (because it was originally played by The Magnetic Fields) and 'The Drawback' (because it was written by Joy Division or rather Warsaw).

You now have the chance to remix the brandnew title track of Telekinesis' EP 'Dirty Thing'!

Contest Rules:

1. You can download stems and remix using your own software. And don't forget you can form discussion groups with your fellow remixers to share inspiration, tech talk or anything else!

2. Publish your remix here. You are not allowed to publish/post your remix or the stems from this contest on any other site - you may only use Tracks& Fields widgets for this purpose. Any user found to be doing so will be disqualified from this contest.

3. Do not infringe anyone's copyright: only use your own or royalty free/creative commons licensed material! Morr Music/Telekinesis remain the sole copyright owner of the song 'Dirty Thing' and all audio stems from this contest.

4. Morr Music/Telekinesis will choose the best remix - the entrant with the most votes will not necessarily win this contest.
