Songs with unusual instrumentation needed
While the client likes the previous selection very much, he would like to try a different direction as well and see how it works with the pictures (see new references Michel Legrand and Henry Mancini at the bottom).I'm working on a TV spot of a car brand and I'm looking for very special music. My spot is dealing with a fine sense of irony and the music should support this without being too dominant. As the main focus is on the voice over, I need a song without any lyrics or only spare vocal parts.
As we need some extra ordinary music, I'm not after typical Indie Pop or Indie Rock which has been used too often in car commercials. I'm rather after songs with a unusual instrumentations or very old sounding songs, that build a counterpoint to the story. The longest version is 60 seconds.
