In the summer of 2008, the producer Max Mostly and the DJ Blacksta decided to team up and created THE GOOONIEZ. Max Mostley has been a featured producer on various #1 albums in Germany (Deutsche Longplay-Charts). DJ Blacksta has been a successful DJ in the German Hip Hop and R’n’B scene for years.
Both shared their passion for electronic music and their feeling of lacking innovation in this field. They knew that they could elevate the scene and breathe fresh air into the electro heads. It won’t take much time for THE GOOONIEZ to conquer the hearts of electro fans.
Their participation in the Sony Vaio Electrosound Contest 2008 is one proof of that. Their first release Single Guys was voted third place by listeners from all over the world. This was huge step and success for the duo.
Today, THE GOOONIEZ are established and became guarantors for unforgettable party nights, breathtaking tracks and astonishing remixes.
