Electronic Pop act Zoot Woman is now available for remixing.
The band members around Adam Black, Johny Blake and Stuart Price have formed the initial ignition for electroclash. Especially Stuart Price takes this band to a road of glory, for he already accomplished productions for Madonna, The Killers, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani and many more!
Under a range of aliases like Jaques Lu Cont, Man with Guitar or Paper Faces, the group members have been astonishingly active in the
remix scene and gave numerous of hits their personal flavour. In cooperation with their Berlin based label Snowhite, TracksandFields are now able to offer you a remix contest for Zoot Woman hit " We Wont Break."
The best remix will be featured through Zoot Woman´s and Snowhite's webpages and press campaigns and will be considered as a digital release.
Deadline is 23.08.2009.

ok, now it worked. i forgot to create an artist.
Hi, here is a short description on how to upload:
1. Click "Submit your song"
2. Choose the song you want to upload
3. Enter the name of the song
4. Choose the artist-name you want to use (or create a new one). This is your artist, not "Zoot Woman"
5. Click "Submit"
Your remix should then appear in the list. If you are still having trouble, please get in touch with us.
Apparently, sorting by date doesn't work for everyone. So to be sure, click through the list of songs. If it is not in there and you are sure that you have uploaded it correctly, please get in touch!
o, sorry, i guess i now uploaded my song two times; only because i couldn't see it there, but i hope it worked!

I submited my Remix to this site but it doesn't show up, even tried it twice (and sorted by date)... I really have huge problems with the usability of this website, I'm sorry to say... Any help on how to get the song to the list would be fine!

Ok, it appears to have been deleted, god how frustraiting! Right, time to upload my proper version, doh!
PLEASE IGNORE MY UPLOADED TRACK - 'VEALE DEAL REMIX' AS IT CRACKLES TOWARDS THE END OF THE TRACK....SOMEHOW I HAVE MANAGED TO CREATE 2 OTHER ARTISTS WHICH I NOW CANT ACCESS TO DELETE MY POORLY UPLOADED MIX...I HAVE EMAILED TRACKSANDFIELDS TO GET ADVICE ON HOW TO REMOVE MY TRACK FROM THE ZOOT WOMAN REMIX SUBMISSIONS PAGE....SO ANNOYED WITH MYSELF AND HOW HARD IT IS TO JUST DELETE OR REMOVE MIXES I HAVE UPLOADED...AN ADVICE WELCOME :-)

Im sorry for taking up webspace, but I submitted a song and the wrong format. I probably am already loosing credibility because of it. But is there a way you can delete the submission that does not work.
We tried to replicate this problem on various machines and can't find a bug. Any additional info is highly appreciated (i.e. browser type, feedback message). Either way, you need to create an artist to upload, either in your profile or when you upload the song. If it doesn't work, please send us an email to info 'at' tracksandfields.com with a description of the problem and we will help you manually.

I really want to participate in this remix. The original song is unbelievable. However I am deploying to Iraq in a couple days. So I am starting on the project tonight and hopefully coming up with something before then. Im in the same boat as deano; I dont know how to upload the remix once its finished.
how do you upload a song for the remix?? been trying for days. i try and send it and when its finished it says you have not selected an artist. so i create one and it still says this over and over again.. can anyone help? thanks, deano
@audionerve: thank you for your feedback! we are still in beta and are updating the site daily. the download-function rework is added to the list. Right now what you can do is go to the sample section and type in Zoot Woman as a keyword. There you can download all files at the same time.
@all: please feel free to write your feedback via the contact form until our forum is up next month. We are counting on your input to make this the best place for music production on the web in the coming months!
Strange way of letting contestants download the samples, really. You'll have to rework that player soon. You're not able to download all files at the same time - just one by one. takes you like 30 mins to get all the tracks and you'll always have to stay in front of the screen to start up the next download. Very laborious, unfortunately.

The download is working perfectly fine. When you see the flash temp file this basically means that the download is not complete yet. I assume that you are downloading the WAV's, which can take a bit longer. However, we will have a new "downloading"- feedback up soon. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry, but I still can't download any files, it creates some kind of flash temp files, but never finishes them and the vocal files simply do not get created. I downloaded the latest player and am using Firefox

When will this "NULL" error be fixed? We can't access the files!
Hi, i'm new here, signed up to do this contest.
When I am not logged in I can see the stems in the player but cannot download them.
When I log in and come to this page, all the stems in the player are showing as "Null".
How do I download the wavs??
I'm having trouble downloading the stems. When I'm not logged in they show up in the samples section, but as soon as I log on they're gone and replaced with "null". I'm trying to join the artist but all I get is a fatal error message.
@Olaf: you can use any material that you have the rights to (i.e. that you made yourself) for this contest. the first sentence only means that you are not allowed to use Zoot Woman's stems for anything else than your remix.
@Robb: the only rules that apply are outlined above. of course you can download samples and reupload the finished track!
i don`t know if i understand that right: "Use these stems only for this contest." means it that i can use excusively the uploaded samples for the remix?
Are there any "rules" for the contest? For example, can I download the samples for offline processing and reupload the processed audio?
